AYO REAL TALK HIP-HOP CAN'T BE DEAD WITH LYRICS LIKE THESE, CHECK THE RHYMES!
In a segment called "The Cypher" during the 2008 BET Awards Hip-Hop, artists Ace Hood, Juelz Santana, Fabolous and Jadakiss traded verses to the classic sounds of DJ Premiere, and I must say I was impressed with what I heard. The big surprise for me was the fact that Miami rapper Ace Hood actually held his own among 3 lyrical beasts. I don't believe his debut album "Gutta" in stores now,is a classic or anything close to it as his overrated boss DJ Khaled suggests,but off this verse he will definitely gain some respect as a solid lyricist.
